Little Knitter!!

My son seems to have gotten the crafty gene, every time I am scrapbooking or stamping, he always wants to make something too! When I started to learn to knit I never thought he would take an interest in that, but...

Here he is concentrating very hard, making sure the stitches are just right. They aren't, of course, but it makes me happy that he wants to try new things. Plus he's just so darn cute ;o)
















GREEN SOCKS

Knit Picks was having a sale a while back and my son fell in love with this green yarn. He thought he was going to make the socks himself but when the yarn came, he thought it was better if I made them for him! Here they are:

Happy Mother's Day

My hubby surprised me with 18 beautiful yellow roses, they're so lovely.

He did a great job. Now my plan for the day is to knit, knit, knit :o) I may not even get dressed today! Hope everyone has a great mother's day.

May Socks

I've been working on these off and on for a month or so and they're finally done! Whew! They are the Baby Cable Rib pattern from the Sensational Knitted Socks book. I bought the yarn at a small fiber festival we had here in my town from Oregon Trail Natural Fibers. I loved the color and I really love the pattern. Hope you like them.
